Different continent. Same adventure.
Australia and Europe might have very different landscapes, but 4WD owners everywhere face a familiar problem:
You want your adventure gear when you’re travelling - but you don’t necessarily want it permanently attached to your vehicle.
That is where RacksBrax + Koala Creek come together.
Koala Creek is a European-focused outdoor brand, developed in the Netherlands specifically for the European market. Its range includes rooftop tents and vehicle awnings designed around practical touring and camping. Koala Creek has an established dealer network across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, making it a genuinely European adventure brand.
EUROPEAN GEAR. AUSTRALIAN ENGINEERING.
RacksBrax was developed in Australia for people who take their 4WD equipment seriously.
Australian engineering has earned a strong reputation for building equipment for demanding 4WD conditions. RacksBrax brings that mindset to Europe: practical, robust and designed around real-world adventure. For European 4WD owners, it is a distinctly Australian approach to quality - engineered in Australia, now helping European adventurers travel smarter.
The concept is simple: make compatible awnings and accessories FAST ON and FAST OFF, without repeatedly dismantling the mounting system.
Koala Creek’s Explorer awnings are available in several sizes, including 2.0m, 2.5m and 3.0m widths. RacksBrax’ compatibility documentation specifies the HD Hitch configuration required for these Koala Creek Explorer awnings, with the supplied Koala Creek brackets compatible with the HD Hitch system.
That gives European adventurers another way to make their vehicle more adaptable.
WEEKEND TOURER. WEEKDAY VEHICLE.
Think about how you actually use your vehicle.
During a European touring holiday, your Koala Creek awning becomes part of your outdoor living space - providing shade, shelter and somewhere to stop and enjoy the journey.
But when the trip is finished?
Why leave it permanently mounted?
With a compatible RacksBrax setup, the awning can be removed quickly and stored securely until the next adventure. RacksBrax also offers wall-mount solutions, allowing compatible roof-rack accessories to be stored away from the vehicle when they’re not required.
It’s a simple idea, but a powerful one.
